Terms of Service

These terms apply when you install or use Cool& - Post Purchase Survey (“the App”), operated by Peter Coolen Creative Developer (“we”, “us”). By installing the App you agree to them. If you’re installing it for a business, you confirm you’re allowed to accept these terms on its behalf.

The service

The App lets you create surveys and show them on your Shopify store’s Thank You page, and view and export the responses. We may improve or change features over time.

Your responsibilities

• You decide what your surveys ask. Don’t use them to collect sensitive data such as health information or payment details, or for anything unlawful.
• You’re responsible for telling your customers how you use their answers, for example in your store’s privacy policy, and for handling their data lawfully.
• Keep your Shopify and Klaviyo accounts secure.

Fees

The App is free during launch. When paid plans start, they will be billed through Shopify, and we’ll give you notice before any charge applies. You can stop at any time by uninstalling the App.

Your data

You own your surveys and the responses you collect. We only use them to provide the App, as described in our Privacy Policy. Our Data Processing Terms are part of these terms and set out how we process your customers’ personal data on your behalf.

Availability

We work to keep the App running smoothly, but we can’t promise it will always be available or error-free. Because the survey appears after the order is placed, an outage won’t affect your checkout or payments.

Liability

The App is provided “as is”. As far as the law allows, we’re not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or data, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the App in the 12 months before the claim.

Ending the service

You can stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend access if the App is misused or these terms are broken. If we ever discontinue the App, we’ll give reasonable notice so you can export your data.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we’ll let you know before it takes effect. Continuing to use the App means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands.
